Vaalwater is situated in the Waterberg area of Limpopo near the Mokolo River. Vaalwater sits at the southern edge of what is known as the Waterberg Massif, a large biosphere which contains a number of mammals including some of the Big Five.
Vaalwater has many historical and interesting buildings for visitors to view including the Church of St John the Baptist, as well as numerous herb farms which can also be visited. There are countless self-drive routes which can be explored to experience the authentic Waterberg bush.
